Mentoring Walk

Since 2008, extraordinary women leaders across the globe have joined together in a collaborative effort to invest in the next generation of women leaders through the Global Women’s Mentoring Walk. Organized as a series of localized community events, the walks convene established women leaders and rising women professionals to walk together in their communities and engage in discussions regarding their professional challenges and successes. Each walk seeks to foster the leadership potential of aspiring women professionals for the benefit of local communities.

2009 Global Women’s Mentoring Walks

International women leaders of the Vital Voices Global Leadership Network coordinated the second annual Global Women’s Mentoring Walk on November 21, 2009. The 2009 Global Women’s Mentoring Walk took place in communities throughout Egypt, Malawi, Nigeria, Uganda, Zambia and Argentina.

In 2010, there will be walks held in Ghana, South Africa, El Salvador and Tanzania. More information will be forthcoming.
